Step one:

If you purchased plates like I did with a bit of detailing on them then you can paint them like I am. Mine have these small raised dots around the edge of the plates, then a smaller line on the inside. I thought it would be fun to pick four colors and paint the dots on them to pop some color on these plates. If you don’t want to paint then you can skip this next step and go onto gluing the plates and the bowl together.

I am using four colors and painting the dots around the edge. I just thought it would make the plates look cute and the colors also match the stamp stickers that I picked out at the craft store.

Step two:

Once you have painted both plates you will take your glue gun and put a line of glue on the top of the candlestick, then turn it over and press it down in the middle of the first plate. Be quick about doing this, the hot glue will start to cool almost immediately and you want to get it pressed down before it hardens.
